The wind flew through the trees, the flowers and his hair; and it swayed them, just as my heart was shaking. I wanted to run my fingers through his hair as the wind rustled them, and I wanted to kiss his lips.
He lay beside me, with his eyes fixated on the clouds in the sky; as if trying to solve the millions of mysteries that lay beyond them. I followed his gaze towards the clouds, and thought about all the things in my life which had no solution.
"That cloud looks like a UFO" he said while narrowing his eyes, towards the apparent alien space-ship.
I burst out laughing, and said, "Oh yeah?"
He looked towards me, as his lips perked up and a smile broke across his face, and he lightly shook his head.

The wind blew across the sky, and with it flew her hair - in a wonderful mess. I looked at her, as she laughed at the random joke I had cracked. My heart ached with longing, as I noticed the way her eyes twinkled.
"C'mon, get up, we need to get back! Its probably about to rain." she said with a smile. She got up and offered me her hand to pull me up. I took it, and stood up.
A sudden gust of wind came up and on instinct our grips on each other's hands tightened. Her gaze moved towards my eyes, and I looked back into them.
As the wind continued to speed up, we stood there looking at each other - we said nothing, but it felt like a thousand words were being exchanged. The moment seemed to mean something - something important - like a tipping point.

This was it. They gently leaned towards each other, and their lips met. Their arms moved around each other, and they stood there kissing each other as a storm built around them.
Nothing apart from each other, seemed to matter to both of them. It felt like the end of the world, and the beginning of it - all at once. As they leaned into each other, their hearts sparked with the passionate joy of having something they thought they could never have.
The wind zealously rustled around them, and then it moved on to find someone else who needed it - to give them the gentle push their heart longed for. A soft push towards taking the step, that could break your heart into a thousand tiny pieces or make all that you wished for true and give you the love and joy you spent your life longing for.
